Press Manager

Leading British independent fashion retailer Question Air, has an exciting new opening for a Press Manager to develop and co-ordinate their public relations.

Dynamic, creative and innovative, you will thrive on having autonomy in running the press office, increasing visibility and brand awareness. Working closely with the creative, design and buying teams, the PR manager will generate press coverage to support the overall business in targeted print, trade and online media outlets.

In this role, you will proactively drive coverage for Question Air, oversee sample requests and plan and implement PR projects from conception to realization. The PR Manager will oversee logistics for local press events to support seasonal launches, collection previews and other brand communications. This role will also contribute to story angle development, write press releases to support brand initiatives and monitor weekly PR agency reports to ensure representation in targeted media.

Some key skills that you need...

• Proven relevant experience in the fashion PR industry in agency or in-house
• Good people management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office with extensive presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; confident and able to build good working relationships over the telephone, in person and by email
• Experience coordinating PR across multiple international markets
• Able to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Ability to set up systems to organize and manage administrative work
• Close attention to detail
• Creative thinker
